The Fox ESS ECS2900 (2.9 kWh HV-Modul) is a high-performance battery storage system with a nominal capacity of 2.88 kWh, based on LFP cell technology. The system was launched in 2021 and was a proven solution for solar self-consumption optimization in residential and commercial buildings for several years.
This product reached its end-of-life status in 2025. Background: ECS2900 wird durch die newer EQ-Serie replaced (replaced ECS als Standarmodul). The manufacturer recommends as successor: Fox ESS EQS2900 / EQ-Serie.
