MTRE 1S-8/8 AWA-HUUV
Multi-stage, submersible, self-priming centrifugal pump for vertical installation in containers, etc. The components of the pump in contact with the media are made of gray cast iron (head and base) and stainless steel. The pump has the following features:
- Installation length according to DIN 5440.
- Impellers, intermediate chambers and the spline shaft are made of stainless steel.
- Mechanical seal according to EN 12756.
- Power is transmitted via a split clutch.

The cartridge seal promises high reliability and ease of service. The pump is equipped with a 1-phase, fan-cooled permanent magnet synchronous motor. For speed control, the motor has a frequency converter and PI controller, which are housed in the motor's terminal box. The electronic speed control enables the motor speed and thus the pump performance to be continuously adjusted to the current requirement. The setpoint can be set via a control panel on the motor terminal box. In addition, the pump can also be set to the “MIN”, “MAX” or “Stop” operating modes. The Grundfos Eye status display shows the operating status of the pump on the control panel as follows:
- Switched on: Motor is running (green indicator lights are on and rotating) or engine is ready for operation (green indicator lights are on continuously)
- Warning: Engine is still running (yellow indicator lights are on and rotating) or has been switched off (yellow indicator lights are on continuously)
- Alarm: Engine has been switched off (red indicator lights flashing).

Communication with the pump is possible via the Grundfos GO Remote app (optional). Further settings can be made via the remote control and numerous operating parameters can be read out, such as: B. “Current value”, “Speed”, “Power consumption” and “Total power consumption”. The terminal box has several inputs and outputs, so that the motor can also be used in demanding applications that require many inputs and outputs:
- 2 digital inputs with dedicated functions
- 3 analog inputs 0(4)-20 mA, 0-5 V, 0-10 V or 0.5-3.5 V
- 5 V power supply for the potentiometer and a sensor
- 1 analog output 0-10 V or 0(4)-20 mA
- 2 freely configurable digital inputs or open collector outputs
- 2 Pt100/Pt1000 inputs
- Input for the LiqTec sensor (dry running protection)
- Input and output for the Grundfos Digital Sensor
- 24 V power supply for sensors
- 2 signaling relay outputs (potential-free contacts)
- GENIbus interface
- Interface for a Grundfos CIM fieldbus module.
