The Solarwatt / BMW MyReserve Matrix 4.4 kWh is a high-performance battery storage system with a nominal capacity of 4.4 kWh, based on Solarwatt Battery flex / Partner-Batteries cell technology. The system was launched in 2016 and was a proven solution for solar self-consumption optimization in residential and commercial buildings for several years.
This product reached its end-of-life status in 2024. Background: Solarwatt stellte im Mai 2024 die Batterieproduktion in Dresden ein. The manufacturer recommends as successor: BMW withdrew as investor.
